The Hide
The Hide offers a unique safari experience for its guests, from its fantastic game viewing right on the doorstep, to a variety of daily activities to suit everyone and the warm and welcoming staff, who make you feel like family from the minute you arrive. Guests are accommodated in 10 beautifully-furnished deluxe tents, all boasting en-suite bathrooms and private verandas overlooking the busy waterhole where elephants, lions, and buffalo can often be seen. Adventures include day and night game drives, guided bush walks, and exceptional game viewing in the seclusion of the camp’s unique underground hides.

Located in the Chobe Forest Reserve just 3km from the Chobe National Park (a region renowned for its outstanding wildlife, in particular the famous Chobe Elephants, and home to more than 75 mammal and 450 bird species), Ngoma Safari Lodge commands awe-inspiring views over the Chobe River and floodplains. Each private river-facing suite offers a quiet refuge. Activities include a full day safari comprising a drive in the Chobe National Park, a cruise and a picnic lunch, day or night drives, walks, and birding.

Meet your driver for the transfer back across the Ngoma borderpost into Botswana and on to Kasane Airport for your onward flight.

Frequently Asked Questions
You will be visiting Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. It sounds exhausting but The KAZA area is where these 4 countries meet and so distances are not as great as one would imagine. On this itinerary, Hwange National park is an immense conservation area, Zimbabwe’s largest national park, that ranks amongst Africa’s top national parks and will deliver a premier wildlife experience. Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage site will be viewied from both sides of the Zambezi River and then the safari experience continues at Chobe National Park in Botswana and Bwabwata National Park in Namibia, both areas which offer a variety of different game viewing opportunities including both land and water-based activities.
All areas can be connected by road. Hwange National Park for instance is only 3 hours away from Victoria Falls by road but can be accessed easily and affordavbly from Victoria Falls airport by daily scheduled charter flights. To connect to the other destinations, shorter road transfer between 30 min and an hour can be arranged. The final transfer to Nambwa from Kasane in Bostwana will be a longer transfer of approxumatelty 3 hours depending on border procedures at the Ngoma borderpost.
All locations on this tour are considered malaria areas and we advise the use of anti-malarial prophylactics year-round. Consult your travel doctor for advice at least three weeks before departure to Africa.
