Our Carpentry Workshop artisans are employed from the local Mayuni Conservancy and were originally trained to make bee boxes to help combat human-elephant conflict in our local community residing alongside the Bwabwata National Park.
These young men have never worked or earned an income before. Their skills now extend to crafting vintage wooden boxes, holding four signature Desolate Gin bottles – distilled in Namibia, by Namibians.
The gin box can be used as a jewellery box once the gin is consumed.
