Kazile Island Lodge is on the banks of the Kwando River and its floodplains, and only accessible by boat.
The Kazile boat station is approximately 11 km along the C49 off the B8. From Kazile boat station it is only a short 5-minute boat cruise to the lodge.
Pass through the Park Entrance Gate, then follow the green direction signs towards Nambwa Tented Lodge. Look for the Nambwa Campsite sign at a fork in the road, then turn right. Stay on this road until you see the Nambwa Campsite sign. Turn left and continue until you reach reception.
Please stop here and purchase your Park Entry Permit as you will need to show this to us on arrival at Nambwa Campsite. You should expect your drive to take about 45 minutes from the Park Entrance Gate. Due to the thick sand, you will need a 4×4 vehicle.
