Nambwa Tented Lodge is uniquely situated inside the Bwabwata National Park in the heart of KAZA, nestled high amongst majestic trees, honoring the elephants’ right of way below. An authentic walkway joins decadently spacious tented suites, which emanate a feeling of vastness and evoke a gentle balance of serenity. Here you enjoy memorable African experiences on foot, by boat or vehicle, up close and personal with some of the biggest herds of elephants. Soak up the breathtaking sunsets over the infamous Horseshoe Lagoon with animals silhouetted in purple hues over the water.
Day 14
End of Itinerary
Check out of your lodge after a final mornjing activity and breakfast at leisure. You will be transferred back to Mpacha Airport for your scheduled flight back to Eros Airport.
You will be met there on arrival and transferred to Windhoek International Airport for your onward flight.

Cape Town is far from being “just” a city destination and one of the many reasons that travelers choose to visit Cape Town is its abundance of scenic beauty and natural attractions. The city itself is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain, one of the world’s Seven Wonders of Nature, however, attractions such as the scenic Cape Winelands, Cape Town’s numerous white sandy beaches, the Cape Pensinsula and activities such as whale watching and shark diving, are all found within a 2 hour radius of Cape Town. In addition, Cape Town is also considered South Africa’s culinary capital and is a veritable foodie paradise.
Destinations are too far apart to be connected by road. Regular commercial flights operate directly between Cape Town and Windhoek and also between Windhoek and Katima Mulilo on Namibia’s Zambezi region multiple days a week. Road transfers are available from Vic Falls, Livingstone, Kasane and Katima Mulilo to Nambwa Tented Lodge.
Nambwa Tented Lodge operates on 220V Solar Power, 24 hours a day. Guest accommodation is equipped with a 220-volt AC plug which is suitable for hairdryers and the recharging of camera and video batteries.
Guests traverse within the Bwabwata National Park, inside Africa’s largest conservation area where over 80,000 elephants roam the plains. It is a birders paradise with 450 bird species to identify. Activities offered are both land and water-based.
